I?ve been lucky to witness two superb fights between Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler.

As the record books stand, both fighters have one win to their names, therefore you?d think that the perfect scenario exists for a Froch v Kessler III to take place.

So, could it happen?

Quite probably!

Although Froch has a mandatory IBF/WBA super-middleweight defence against the hugely ambitious George Groves to negotiate first, Mikkel Kessler is already making noises that he wants a third fight with Froch.

Talking about the possibility and also of the fight being held in London, Kessler is quoted as having remarked,

?I would, a third one, I would go back to London. I don?t care. Maybe not a neutral place because wouldn?t recognize us or know about boxing, and would have to travel. So I think we have to do it in London or Copenhagen.?

So will it happen?

I guess only time will tell or will the urge to take on Andre Ward to seek redemption be too much for Froch to resist (if Froch gets past Groves)?
