I?m guessing that plans to give Carl Froch a golden farewell with a fight in as Vegas are not going too well.

The idea was that Froch would take on Julio Cesar Chavez in Vegas seems to being succeeded by a domestic showdown with the mandatory challenger James DeGale.

Froch?s promoter, Eddie Hearn has given the game away by declaring to one leading newspaper,

?It looks to me like a fight with Chavez is not going to happen.’

Whilst also indicating that a fight with DeGale, described as hungry and talented looks set for a venue in Nottingham next year.

If that is the case, could it be Froch?s farewell fight?

Also, can DeGale do what George Groves couldn?t do?
