Over here in England, our next major promotion is at the O2 Arena, on Saturday 25th May.

On a night when our capital city will be playing host to an all-German Champions League Final, at Wembley Stadium, Carl Froch will, once again, be engaging in a pugilistic bonanza when he takes on the Dane, Mikkel Kessler in a super-middleweight world title fight.

It?s a clash that could go either way with both boxers keen to establish a major foothold in the division by staking a claim to be the best, at their weight, in the world.

Therefore, in order to ensure that all is kept in order on the scoring front, we?re pleased to hear that the bout will be judged by neutral officials therefore, hopefully, eliminating any accusations about having to knockout a boxer, on his own turf, to get a draw.

The undercard, at the O2 Arena features two other Britons hoping to elevate themselves at world level when super-middleweight George Groves takes on Noe Gonzalez Alcoba and light-heavyweight Tony Bellow takes on Isaac Chilemba, the latter being a re-match after the two combatants drew earlier this year.

But, my feeling is that all eyes will be on the lad from Nottingham, Carl Froch, with his reputation for providing fights to remember ? the question being though, who will prevail, Froch or Kessler?

Next week, we?ll endeavour to focus more on the fight as it draws nearer and nearer.
