Here at Vital Boxing we?d like to offer our congratulations to Carl Froch.

For the third successive year Froch has been named by the British Boxing Board of Control as their boxer of the year.

Froch, the IBF / WBA super-middleweight champion, scooped the accolade on the back of those two wins over George Groves, the second of which came courtesy of a devastating punch that was seen by 80,000 at Wembley Stadium.

It remains to be seen if anyone, on the British fight scene, can challenge his dominance in claiming this award next year.
