It seems that Carl Froch is getting a little tetchy.
As Eddie Hearn tries to tie-down Julio Cesar Chavez Jr for a massive swansong fight, for Froch, in Las Vegas, Froch has hinted that retirement could be an option if the fight isn?t forthcoming.
The IBF / WBA super-middleweight champion, now 37 years of age, has remarked to the media,
?That?s where I am on it.?
?I?ve told that to Eddie Hearn. He said ?you can?t do that? and you know what I can, because if that right hand I threw that connected with George Groves? chin in front of 80,000 people at the national stadium ? if that?s the last punch I throw in my career, I will still be smiling.?
It?s like a child throwing his toys out of a pram if you ask me!
Give James DeGale his shot Carl, he?s earned it just like you did all those years ago!
Froch Issues an Ultimatum (of sorts)
