The attendance last night, at the Wembley Arena, was given as 6,320.
It was a far cry from the 80,000 that packed the new Wembley for the second fight between Carl Froch and George Groves, but then again attendances like that are normally only once in a life-time.
Amongst the 6,320 at the famous old Wembley Arena though was a fair sprinkling of celebrities, as is always the case these days.
Amongst the ringside commentary team though was a certain Carl Froch who, fresh from his spell on that poor TV programme Tumble, was on hand to give his opinions on his old adversary.
Following the points win that Groves had carved out over Christophe Rebrasse, Froch was none too complimentary when asked if Groves could beat the WBC champion Anthony Dirrell, remarking,
?Will he win against Dirrell with a performance like that? I?m not so sure.?
Miaoww, those claws are out again!
Froch Dismisses Groves Chances Against Dirrell!
