After splitting from Cyclone Promotions and teaming up with Frank Warren, it has been announced who Carl Frampton will face in his first fight since losing his world champion status against Leo Santa Cruz.

Frampton, a former two-weight world champion, will face the Mexican fighter Horacio Garcia in Belfast on 18 November.

Garcia will arrive in Belfast with a record that has seen him lose just 3 of his 37 professional fights, with one of those losses being against Japan?s former world champion Hozumi Hasgawa.

Just three weeks ago, Garcia was in action against a fellow Mexican fighter in Diuhl Olguin, avenging a defeat he suffered in July.

Garcia, starting out as a professional, won all 29 of his first fights before coming a cropper against the previously aforementioned Hasegawa.

It should be an interesting night in Belfast.
