Now firmly entrenched as the IBF super-bantamweight champion of the world, it appears that Carl Frampton has sold the boots he wore on that magical night in Belfast, against Kiko Martinez, to raise money for charity.
At a charity auction the sale of the boots Carl wore raised £1,100 for the Northern Ireland Children?s Hospice.
The event was held to honour Oscar Knox a five year old boy who bravely battled a rare form of childhood cancer until he passed away in May.
The winning bid was made by Jim Conlon who has promised the boots will be displayed in a glass case at his gym, Conlon?s Gym Co for everyone to see.
Well done to all concerned.
