If I were a betting man, and I?m not, I wouldn?t put too much of my hard-earned cash on Carl Frampton luring Leo Santa Cruz to Belfast.

With both men holding a win over each other, the demand is that the two featherweight warriors should go head-to-head for a third time.

Now whilst Leo Santa Cruz, after their last epic encounter at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, may have intimated that he would be prepared to take Frampton on in his own backyard, it seems that a bit of common sense has kicked in.

Santa Cruz?s camp know that Frampton would be seriously fired up if he were to be given the chance to win back his belt, even more so in front of a very noisy and partisan Belfast crowd.

To that effect the father and trainer of the Mexican, Jose Santa Cruz, has advised his charge not to venture to Belfast with Leo Santa Cruz being quoted as having remarked,

‘If he says no, I wouldn’t go there. I do what he tells me.?

Which says to me it just isn?t going to happen!
