Last time out Carl Frampton beat Scott Quigg in a unification fight at super-bantamweight, stopping the previously unbeaten Bury fighter.

This weekend it was announced that Frampton will move up a weight, to featherweight, for his next fight.

Frampton is set to take on the WBA featherweight champion, Leo Santa Cruz.

The fight will take place in New York, this summer, with Frampton aiming to become the first boxer from Northern Ireland to win world titles at two different weights.

It is a huge fight for Frampton who will be putting his reputation on the line against the 27-year-old Mexican who has won world titles at three weights and is unbeaten in his 33 professional fights.

We wait for the venue and date to be announced.
