Next Saturday, in Belfast, Carl Frampton makes a return to the ring.
Frampton, the former WBA featherweight champion, will be taking on the experienced former four-weight champion, Nonito Donaire, for the vacant WBO interim featherweight title.
Ahead of the big-fight, Frampton has revealed that he?s taken a different approach to the build-up to the bout, revealing he?s been working with the staff of the English Premier League champions-elect, Manchester City, with Frampton revealing,
?I?ve had a new approach. I?ve got Manchester City guys looking after me.
?Sharmain Davies is a nutritionist who works at the Etihad and Simon Bitcon is City?s strength and conditioning guy.
?Rachel Dawe for the Manchester Institute of Health and Performance is overseeing the programme.
?I feel better than I have ever felt.?
Hopefully, the new approach will pay dividends for Carl and The Jacal will march on to a hugely intriguing clash with Oscar Valdez for the world title belt.
