The huge fight between two world super-weight champions is now less than a week away.

On Saturday evening, in Manchester, Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg will go head-to-head, one of the two will lose their unbeaten record as well as their world title belt.

It?s hard to predict who?ll win but I?m erring towards Frampton, by a late stoppage.

However, in the build-up to the fight, the Irishman is convinced that Scott Quigg only agreed to fight him after the Irishman, surprisingly, hit the deck twice in the first round when he last fought, against Alejandro Gonzalez Junior, in the US, with the Irishman remarking,

?If I hadn?t been knocked down by Gonzalez, this fight wouldn?t be happening.

?If I?d blown him away in one or two rounds, we wouldn?t be boxing.

?The only reason this fight is happening is because they?re getting a bit of hope from me showing a few vulnerabilities. It was just me being stupid really. I went out and got caught cold.

?I?d seen Gonzalez around a lot in the hotel. He was a skinny quiet kid who kept his head down.

?I looked at him and just thought ?I?m going to blow this kid away.

?It was the wrong opinion to go into the fight with.

?I nearly paid the price with two flash knockdowns. But if you take the first round out of the equation, I probably won every other round bar one.

?I boxed well and it was a blessing in disguise.?

Hopefully it was, although it does show that Frampton can be hurt if you catch him right, can Quigg do that on Saturday night?
