Following the weigh-in at the Ulster Hall, ahead of Carl Frampton?s shot at the IBF super-bantamweight title, against Kiko Martinez, Frampton spoke to the media.
As expected, having knocked out Martinez the first time they met, with the fight ending in the ninth round, the challenger remains hugely confident he?ll be the one leaving the ring, on Saturday night, as the new world champion.
Talking about the fight this is what the challenger had to say about Saturday night at the Titanic Quarter in Belfast,
?I also I have the power to knock any super-bantamweight in the world out.?
?I?m preparing for a hard, grueling fight, that may take 12 rounds but no matter what happens I?m going to win.?
?So it could be a 12-round points decision or it could be over in the first round.?
?Nevertheless, I?m preparing for a very hard and brutal fight then we can talk about future fights.?
Our friends across the pond make Martinez the favourite t hang onto his belt with the champion having taken on far harder fights since losing to Frampton the first time they met, than Frampton has, but my gut feeling is that Frampton is set to get his reward with a stoppage, I can just feel it in those bones of mine.
Frampton is Extremely Confident
