As Carl Frampton?s big day approaches it seems the Irish fighter has finished his sparring.
Due to defend his IBF super-middleweight title, in Belfast, on 28th February against the IBF?s mandatory challenger, the Mexican Chris Avalos, Frampton has taken to a social network site to confirm that his sparring is now complete as he goes into the final stages of his preparation for what could be a career defining fight.
Frampton, according to a tweet from his social network account, has completed 205 rounds of sparring, the last of which was against the lightweight Yvan Mendy.
We?re told that preparations for the bout, inside the McGuigan training camp, have been immaculate and now we just have to wait and see to see if the Belfast fighter can produce another fantastic night like that when he beat Kiko to win the belt.
It?s going to, believe you me, a magnificent night.
