There?s still a feeling of euphoria in the Frampton camp and after the manner in which Carl beat Kiko Martinez for the IBF belt who can blame them.

Although the IBF probably have their own ideas on who Frampton should make that first defence against, Barry McGuigan appears to be desperate to get his man in the ring with the Bury fighter and WBA champion Scott Quigg.

In fact McGuigan is positively screaming our for Eddie Hearn to agree to a domestic tear-up when he remarked,

?Quigg can?t draw 800 people to Bury but Carl can draw 16,000 in Belfast on a freezing cold night.?

?Eddie Hearn sees what this guy has, that he draws huge revenue to a big venue and we pack out venues. We have the magnet and the legitimate version of the world title.?

Now if only the IBF would relent a little we could have the domestic tear-up to end all domestic tear-ups!
