Following on from his fifth successful defence of his WBA super-bantamweight title, talk is, once again, of Scott Quigg taking on Carl Frampton in a unification match.
In fact the clash could take place as soon as March 2015 with Eddie Hearn, Quigg?s manager revealing that delightful fact.
Quigg, talking about a domestic ear up with Frampton had this to say following his points win over Japan?s Hidenori Otake, at the Liverpool Echo Arena on Saturday night, had this to say,
‘Obviously the Carl Frampton fight is the fight everyone wants to see.’
‘It’s the one I want. There are a lot of big fights out there and they’re the fights I want to be in.’
Now we?re not too sure how Frampton would feel about conceding home advantage to Quigg but what way of determining who is better by doing it in Quigg?s backyard.
