Another of the sports highly rated youngsters has announced that he?s opting to join the professional ranks.
Anthony Fowler, a Commonwealth Gold medallist, will be making his professional debut on the under-card of the Kell Brook v Errol Spence fight at Bramall Lane on 27 May.
Fowler, who is a cousin of the famous Liverpool and England striker Robbie Fowler, took gold in the middleweight division of the Commonwealth Games, in Glasgow, back in 2014.
As Fowler prepares for his first fight as a professional, the 26-year-old has no doubt as to where his career is headed, remarking to the media,
‘As long as I keep my head down and live the life, I don’t see any reason why I won’t become a world champion.?
Can he achieve his dream, only time will tell but we?ll keep an eye on his progress.
