My, how time flies!

Was it really four years ago today?

Was it really four years ago today that a young British fighter, boxing in the super-heavyweight division at the 2012 Olympics battled his way to a world title?

Apparently it was.

On 12 August 2012, at the London Olympics, one Anthony Joshua beat Roberto Cammarelle, on a count-back, to win the gold medal.

That victory flung open the doors to the professional ranks and now Anthony Joshua is the IBF heavyweight champion of the world.

He?s harnessed his skills, developed a knockout punch whilst also becoming one of the most popular figures in the sport , all whilst remaining unbeaten and never having heard the final bell, knocking all of his opponents out.

It?s amazing what can be achieved in four short years isn?t it.
