One fight announced yesterday sees Britain?s WBO lightweight title holder, Terry Flanagan, involved in an all-British dust-up.

Flanagan has signed to make the second defence of his title against the Liverpool fighter Derry Matthews.

The fight will take place at the Liverpool Echo Arena on February 13th.

It will see Flanagan, a Manchester fighter, step into his opponents? backyard.

Still unbeaten, Flanagan has no fear of facing Matthews in Liverpool remarking to the media,

?I?m more than confident of winning so I?ve got no problem heading into his backyard and beating him in front of his home fans.?

?His style is made for me and I can see myself breaking him down from the start and getting the stoppage.?

Matthews, on the other hand, as you?d expect, is also confident he?ll emerge the winner, replying,

?Flanagan is a great champion but I?ll bring his brief reign to an end.?

The duo have met before in the ring when Flanagan beat him in one the famous Sky Sport Prizefighter series.

My thoughts are that we?ll see the same outcome again, a win for Flanagan.
