Next weekend, up in Manchester, Terry Flanagan has the opportunity to add his name to the growing list of British world title holders.

In what is starting to become a golden age for British Boxing, Flanagan takes on Jose Zepeda for the WBO lightweight crown.

The fight, at the Velodrome, will be a tough task for Flanagan with his opponent coming to these shores with a reputation as a knockout king.

However, Flanagan is hoping that the famous Manchester crowd can recreate the kind of atmosphere they did when another local hero, Ricky Hatton, fought, especially when Hatton faced the fearsome Kostya Tszyu, back in 2005, with Flanagan remarking,

?If the atmosphere is half as good as what Hatton had it will be amazing.

?I hope the fans get behind me, be loud and make it hostile.?

Next Saturday can?t come quick enough, it has the potential to be an awesome night and we?re hoping that Terry keeps it all together to join that growing list of current British world champions.
