Flicking through various articles across various sites relating to this pugilistic art of ours, I stumbled across an article that suggests Amir Khan may take further time out of the ring.
The inference being that Amir will sit and wait for a potential date next May to fight Floyd Mayweather Junior.
The thought process being that Khan believes he will get his desired fight and doesn?t, unless he has to, risk fighting again in December.
It seems a risky business, or as the article I read described it as something akin to waiting for a lottery ticket.
Also, if the suggestion is true, it would rule out any chance of Amir Khan taking on Kell Brook any time soon which would, in our opinion, lower his standing in the eyes of many a fight fan.
So say it ain?t so Amir and confirm you are going to fight again soon!
