The scene is now set for the World Boxing Series, super-middleweight, to commence.

Following Chris Eubank Jnr?s emphatic points victory over the very durable Arthur Abraham, Eubank Jnr will meet the Turkish fighter, Anvi Yildirim, in one of the quarter-finals.

Lurking in another of the quarter-finals is George Groves, who will be taking on Jamie Cox.

The fights are scheduled for September 16th and October 14th respectively, with it being suspected that the outcome will be an all-British semi-final between Eubank Jnr and Groves, an exciting prospect.

It appears that both boxers are up for the fight, with Eubank Jnr remarking after his points win over Abraham,

?In the Super Series there is no hiding place. Groves can?t run.

?You signed a contract and you have to fight me.?

As for Groves, he doesn?t seem particularly fazed about meeting Eubank Jnr, commenting,

?There is nothing for me to worry about.

?He?s limited. Power? He couldn?t hurt Abraham.?

A fair point but then again nobody has ever stopped Abraham during his entire career.

However, we?re eagerly awaiting the potential semi-final of Eubank Jnr v Groves, who would your money be on?
