Whilst Kell Brook concentrates on taking on Gennady Golovkin, the fighter many thought would be stepping into the ring with the multi-belt holder, Chris Eubank Jnr, has signed up for his next fight.

Instead of operating at world level, Eubank Jnr will be making another defence of the British middleweight title he took off of Nick Blackwell.

The twenty-six year old world ranked fighter will be stepping into the ring to take on Tommy Langford on a Frank Warren show with the purse bids having been won by Warren.

Those trying to sell the fight will point out that Langford has a respectable record, a record that reads 17-0 with 6 wins coming by knockout. But even though Langford is ranked #2 by the WBO, he hasn?t mixed with anyone at a level higher than domestic.

Here at Vital Boxing, we see this as a fight that Chris Eubank Jnr will easily win as he waits (and waits) for the opportunity to make an attempt to win a world title belt.

Once a date and venue has been announced for this fight, we?ll reveal the details.
