After his comprehensive victory over Gary ?Spike? O?Sullivan at the O2 Arena, in London, Chris Eubank Jr now awaits his chance to take on the WBA middleweight champion, Daniel Jacobs.

The 26-year-old, who finally stepped out of the shadow of his famous father with his sparkling display against O?Sullivan, has spoken about the road ahead and facing Jacobs, remarking,

?He?s the champion and from Brooklyn, so flying to America is an option.

?If we can get the fight here that would be great. It will happen within the next year or six months.

?My dream is to be a world middleweight champion and Jacobs is not going to get in my way.?

It?d be great to see Eubank Jr to get the fight in this country, it?d be another massive night for British boxing, but you get the feeling the fighter, currently on the crest of a wave, wouldn?t be too fazed about crossing the pond to face Jacobs.
