On the undercard of the Manchester Arena promotion last night, Chris Eubank Junior featured.

The middleweight prospect was matched against Ivan Jukic a fighter who entered the ring with a record that read 19-2 with 12 wins by way of knockout.

The fight was entertaining but short with Eubank stopping his man in the first round after having him on the floor twice.

Afterwards, Eubank Junior was quick to stoke the fire in relation to a domestic showdown with Billy Joe Saunders, who was to go on and win the European title later in the evening, remarking,

?I?m going to have the British title in my hands in the next four months.?

In response, despite his European win sending him a little closer to a world title fight, Saunders seemed keen to give Eubank the fight he craves, remarking,

?I don?t need him, but if the fans call for it, we?ll do it if he?s man enough. Frank?s the man to set up the fight.?

Will Frank Warren give Saunders the chance to shut Eubank Junior up or will he guide his man towards a world title showdown with Peter Quillen?
