At the Sheffield Arena last night, Chris Eubank Junior stopped his aging American opponent, Tony Jeter, inside two rounds.

Although Jeter was ranked #15 by the WBA it was so ridiculously one-sided that the crowds jeered once the bout had ended, but Eubank can only beat what?s put in front of him and the victory extended his career record to 20-1 with 15 wins by knockout.

From the first bell Eubank was picking off Jeter with ease and dropped his man inside the first two minutes. Jeter recovered sufficiently though to hear the end of the round.

The second round saw Eubank pick off his man with ease and with Eubank peppering his man with punches the referee, Howard Foster, had no option other than to stop the fight.

Following the fight, Eubank Junior who has now earned a crake at Gary ?Spike? O?Sullivan in a final eliminator for the WBA crown, remarked,

?I went in and did my job. I gave one hell of a performance. I?ve a lot of respect for him but this was a warm up for O?Sullivan.

?Jeter was gone, he was hurt badly. People want to see someone get really hurt but I can?t see the point in that.

?I?m coming for O?Sullivan now and it is time for him to get some punishment.?

The bout between the two is scheduled for December 12th and it promises to be quite a scrap.
