On the under-card of the Stuart Hall v Paul Butler IBF bantamweight title fight, Chris Eubank Junior extended his unbeaten run in the professional ranks.
Facing Stepan Horvath, Eubank stopped his opponent in the sixth round having despatched his opponent to the canvas four times in the fight, with two knockdowns in both the fifth and sixth rounds.
The end, in round six, came after Eubank caught his opponent with a hard left to the body, following an earlier knockdown courtesy of a quick left hook to the head. The previous round had seen Eubank drop his man twice with right hands to the head.
Many at ringside thought that the fight may have been stopped in round four when Eubank caught Horvath with a right uppercut that clearly stunned Horvath who turned his back on Eubank and walked away.
All in all a good performance from Eubank but the feeling is there he needs to be moved up in class to see if he is as good as many are suggesting.
