The main support to the main feature on the O2 Arena card, in London, sees two middleweights go head-to-head.
The clash, billed as an official eliminator for the WBA regular middleweight belt, currently held by Daniel Jacobs, is between Chris Eubank Junior and Gary ?Spike? O?Sullivan with their being little love lost between the two fighters.
At the weigh-in today, Eubank Jr, who has a record that reads 20-1 with 15 knockouts, had a little scare when he tipped the scales at 160.25 lbs, just over the 160 lb limit. Thankfully Eubank Jr managed to shift the surplus weight and his official weight for the contest was declared as 159.75 lbs.
As for Gary ?Spike? O?Sullivan, the Irishman had no trouble making the weight scaling 159.5 lbs.
However, the show stealer was Chris Eubank Senior who, fresh back from starring in the ITV programme I?m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here did a strange kind of dance that attracted the attention of everybody.
As for his son coming in and not quite making the weight first time, we?ve an audio feature that provides interesting listening, tune in and see what you think:
