Last night, at London?s Olympia venue, 27-year-old Chris Eubank became the UK?s latest world champion.

Eubank, taking on the Australian Renold Quinlan, put on a classy display to earn a tenth round stoppage.

The victory makes it 24 wins from 25 fights for the new IBO super-middleweight champion.

From the sound of the first bell until when the fight was stopped, Eubank Jnr was always in control but the resilience Quinlan showed was admirable.

Talking about his victory after the bout, Eubank Jnr had this to say,

‘His skull was very hard – it was like hitting concrete.?

And as for the way forward now that he has a world title belt to his name, Eubank Jnr added,

‘Now I am a world champion, I have my ticket to challenge the rest of the super middleweights.’

So what now for Eubank Jnr?

Does his IBO belt, one of the lessor known versions of a world title, open the doors for fights against the likes of James DeGale, Billy Joe Saunders and Gennady Golovkin!
