After winning the IBO world super-middleweight championship, at Olympia, on Saturday evening, it remains to be seen who Chris Eubank Jnr fights next.

The 27-year-old knows who he would like to see in the opposite corner having called out, shortly after his win against Renold Quinlan, both the IBF super-middleweight champion and the only fighter he?s been beaten by, Billy Joe Saunders.

The publicity campaign to get a unification match with DeGale appears to have already started with Eubank Jnr remarking about DeGale,

‘I know what I can do to him. It’s a fight the public want to see and now we have the platform. Let’s do it.’

And as for getting revenge and avenging that solitary defeat on his record at the hands of Saunders, Eubank Jnr further added,

‘I know Saunders is starving as well – no fans, fighting in leisure centres in front of 300 people.

‘He needs to fight and we all want that fight, me more than anybody.

‘Saunders is starving and I’m the food. Without me he hasn’t got anything. The only thing he has is a win over me; that’s his entire career and I need to right that wrong.’

Some interesting words there from Eubank Jnr, but we?ll finish with some words from Eubank Snr who when talking about getting that fight with DeGale, remarked,

‘If we can make this fight with James DeGale, that we shall do.

‘We have been marinating him. I can smell it. When you’re a fighter you are compelled to fight when you are being called out.

‘Otherwise you look like the one thing you have been fighting against all your life, which is appear to be a punk.’

Will either DeGale or Saunders rise to the bait?
