At the O2 Arena, in London, as we await the main fights of the night, there has already been some scintillating action.

In the first three fights on the undercard, we?ve seen three cracking fights.

In the opening fight of the night, a light-welterweight fight, Dave Ryan survived two knock-downs before climbing off the canvas to register a TKO over John Wayne Hibbert to retain his Commonwealth belt.

The second fight of the night was also pretty decent with Scott Cardle becoming the new British lightweight champion beating Craig Evans on points.

Bu the early shock of the night came when John Ryder suffered a seventh round stoppage meaning that Nick Blackwell became the new British middleweight champion.
