Last week, with the heavyweight scene taking centre-stage following Tyson Fury relinquishing his WBA and WBO belts, there was serious talk of Eddie Hearn pulling of a remarkable deal that would see the IBF champion Anthony Joshua take on Wladimir Klitschko.
The fight would see Joshua?s IBF belt up for grabs ad possibly the WBA belt relinquished by Tyson Fury.
However, Eddie Hearn did warn that although the deal was coming together it would have to be concluded last week.
Well last week has passed and still there has been no official announcement about a deal being completed.
But it would appear that not all is lost, it is being reported by the Sun on Sunday that December 10th has been put aside for the bout, a fight that would grip the nation and either see Klitschko punched into retirement by the young warrior or Anthony Joshua schooled by the heavyweight champion who reigned for a decade.
Keep those fingers crossed a deal can be done.
Does December 10th Ring a Bell?
