Dirrell Chases Froch Fight

With Carl Froch chasing that mega-fight over in Las Vegas, could his opponent be Andre Dirrell?

The reason we ask is that on Friday night, at the wonderfully named Little Creek Casino Resort, in Shelton, Washington, the super-middleweight made a triumphant return to the ring.

Making his ring return after an absence of eighteen months, Dirrell took on the normally very durable Vladine Biosse.

However, Biosse was to have trouble with the hand speed of Dirrell and was to come a cropper in the fifth round.

Rocking under a huge barrage of upper-cuts and combinations the referee had no option to stop the fight with two minutes and forty-five seconds of the fight gone.

Following his successful ring return, a return that took his record to 22-1 with 15 by way of knockout, Dirrell spoke about meeting Car Froch, however you get the impression he may have to take his place in a lengthy queue before he gets his wish!
