Back in March, the Liverpool boxer Jazza Dickens was disappointed when a big fight he had lined-up was called off.

Dickens was due to fight the Cuban fighter Guillermo Rigondeaux.

Unfortunately, the fight was called off when Rigondeaux was unable to get the correct visa to enter the country.

Many pundits suspected that would be the end of the matter and that the two wouldn?t make it into the ring together.

But the duo are set to go head-to-head when Rigondeaux agreed to take on Dickens in Cardiff, on Saturday July 16th.

The added bonus being that Dickens will now take on Rigondeaux for the WBA super-bantamweight title held by the Cuban after Carl Frampton vacated it to fight for the featherweight crown in his next fight.

It?s a tall order for Dickens to join our growing list of world title holders considering that Rigondeaux is unbeaten but, in this game, you just never know.
