Shamefully kept to wait to fight for the IBF world super-middleweight title, by Carl Froch, James DeGale will be looking to keep sharp when he fights on the under-card of the Nathan Cleverly v Tony Bellew cruiserweight fight at the Liverpool Arena on 22nd November.

Resigned to having to bide his time, 28 year-old DeGale will be stepping into the ring with the Mexican fighter Marco Antonio Periban.

The fight will top the under-card and we?re hoping that Marco Antonio Periban will proves to be as tough as many of his compatriots who have ventured to these shores.

A good work-out is just what DeGale needs at the moment as he waits for that world title fight to come his way.
