After making a successful defence of his IBF super-middleweight belt, against Lucian Bute, James DeGale has called out Badou Jack as a possible future bout.
But it seems that DeGale also has his eyes on a more lucrative opponent.
There is talk in the air that DeGale would be willing to meet the middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin.
Recent talk, relating to Golovkin suggested that if he was going to fight any British fighter it would more than likely be Carl Froch, with the Nottingham fighter coming out of retirement to take the bout.
However, that fight appears to have stalled before it has even gotten off the ground leaving the possibility that, in the near future, DeGale could get a real money-spinning fight.
