Over in Quebec tonight, the IBF super-middleweight champion, James DeGale, will be hoping to see off the challenge presented by the challenger, Lucien Bute.
Twenty-nine year old DeGale will be making the first defence of the title against the experienced thirty-five year-old Bute but he?s confident of victory and is already looking towards another big fight.
DeGale is hoping to go down the unification route and challenge Badou Jack for his WBC version of the super-middleweight belt.
Talking about doing just that, DeGale has remarked to the media,
?I?ve got option. And Jack in Vegas is top of that list.
?Hopefully we?ll be there in the early part of next summer. That is the dream, to be in Vegas unifying world titles.?
It seems like a good plan James, but don?t forget your roots and your British fan-base!
