Over in Quebec tonight James DeGale continues his quest towards a world title when he tales on the Canadian boxer Sebastien Demers.

The fight, scheduled to take place at the Hilton Lac Learney, is seen as a stepping stone towards that world title shot DeGale craves.

DeGale enters the fight with 14 wins to his name and that solitary blip on his record, the loss to George Groves.

His opponent has been around longer boasting a record that reads 31 wins and 5 defeats.

However, despite Demers boxing under the nickname ?Double Trouble? it should be a comfortable nights work for DeGale with Demers having not registered a win for 3 years and has lost his last 3 fights.

Here at Vital Boxing, we?re taking DeGale to win this eight round encounter possibly stopping his opponent in the middle rounds.

  • bit disappointed DeGale hasn’t picked a better opponent but then again I don’t suppose he can afford another Groves episode!
