Two key boxing figures will be hoping for an Arsenal win the FA Cup Final this Saturday.
The promoter Frank Warren is an avid Arsenal fan and will be hoping the Gunners can see off the challenge the Hull City will present.
Another who associates himself with the Arsenal clan is the boxer James DeGale although DeGale openly admits that he?ll not be in the crowd for the 2014 FA Cup Final, remarking to the press ahead of his forthcoming bout on the undercard of the re-match between Carl Froch and George Groves,
?I was at the semi-final when we beat Wigan and we will win the Cup. And I am about to win my eliminator to fight the winner of Froch v Groves. That?s my double.?
?I can?t be there on Saturday because I have to run and train. It?s a sacrifice I have to make but I?ll be watching it on TV.?
As for leaving the Hennessey camp and joining the growing Matchroom stable, DeGale added,
?I wasn?t making progress and was fighting in s*** venues.?
?But now I?m fighting at an iconic venue that I can see from my house, I?m coming home.?
DeGale might well be coming home but as for that famous old trophy ? the FA Cup, will fate have something up its sleeve resulting in the pot going to Humberside?
DeGale, Home and Arsenal?
