News broke yesterday that the popular Manchester-fighter Anthony ?Million Dollar? Crolla has been given the all-clear to resume his boxing career.

As you may recall, Crolla was the victim of a brutal attack when he tried to apprehend burglars who had ransacked a neighbours? house. His injuries were received when one of the villains smashed him over the head with a concrete block thereby causing damage to the head whilst also badly breaking Crolla?s ankle.

Due to his injuries, Crolla missed a WBA world title fight against Richar Abril and now will be looking to work his way to being in a position to fight for a version of the world title.

Speaking about his return, Crolla has tweeted,

‘There’s no permanent damage from December and I’ll be fine to box on.?

At 28-years of age Crolla still has time on his side and he?ll be looking to improve a record that currently reads 29 wins from 35 fights.

Welcome back Anthony, let?s hope your return is a speedy and successful one.
