The last time Anthony Crolla fought Jorge Linares, the Manchester fighter lost his WBA world lightweight title.

However, the gallant performance Crolla put up against Linares was enough for the new champion to promise Crolla a re-match.

Well Linares has stuck to his word and on March 25th, at the Manchester Arena, the duo will once again climb into the ring to face each other.

Up for grabs will be the following three straps:

? WBA world lightweight title
? WBC Diamond title

and

? Ring magazine title.

It promises to be a tough test for Crolla to regain his world title but talking to the press the fighter had this to say,

?There had been lots of talk on the rematch since the first fight with Jorge so I?m delighted to finally get this announced.

?I see Jorge as the best lightweight in the world and I want to be the best lightweight in the world.’

Stick the date in your diary, it promises to be a cracking fight.
