Crolla to Face Murray

An interesting lightweight clash has been lined up!

At the Manchester Arena, on April 19th, Anthony Crolla will come face-to-face with John Murray.

Murray with a record of 33-2 (with 20 by way of knockout), is the former EBU lightweight champion whilst Crolla with a record of 27-4-1 (with 10 by way of knockout) will prove a real threat to Costa.

In recent times Crolla has had the benefit of some close decisions, most notably in his last fight against Gavin Rees when many punters thought the Welsh fighter had the fight in the bag only to see Crolla?s hand raised in victory.

But Murray will be hoping that there?s no need for the fight to go to points and will be hoping that his punching power can put Crolla away.

Too early for a prediction, we?ll leave that to closer to the fight, but it has all the promise to be an intriguing confrontation.
