With many boxing purists of the opinion that Crolla was clearly robbed and should now be a world title holder instead of having a majority draw on his record, Eddie Hearn has already stated his intentions to either get a re-match ordered or to pay Perez to come back to Manchester, again, to defend the title many believe he lost.

But, the ructions relating to the scorecards, in the light of the magnificent performance Crolla produced in front of his own support, have reached the WBA headquarters where the WBA vice president Gilberto Jesus Mendoza/b|> is set to carry out a review of the score-cards compiled by the three judges.

Talking about the situation Mendoz is quoted in The Sun as remarking,

?The WBA focuses on promoting fairness and neutrality in world title bouts. We expect to have an announcement very soon on Perez-Crolla?

If the outcome is anything less than for an immediate re-match to be ordered then the biggest loser in this whole sorry affair will be Boxing itself!
