Following on from his sparkling display against the WBA lightweight title holder Darleys Perez, a display that, once again, saw some controversy relating to the judges score-cards, the WBA promised to investigate as to whether Anthony Crolla was robbed.

Well it would seem that those behind the WBA are also of the opinion that fair play was not seen to be done that night and the decision has been made that a re-match between Crolla and Perez should be made.

Using the social network site Twitter, Crolla?s promoter, Eddie Hearn sent a tweet that showed his delight at the re-match being ordered, a tweet that read,

?I cannot tell you how happy I am to announce that the @WBABoxing have ordered the rematch between @ant_crolla and Darleys Perez! @SkySports?

After the last fight was given the verdict of a majority draw, we?re hoping that Crolla, who boxed superbly that night, can raise his game again and this time get the reward he deserved last time out.

We?re also hoping that the date and venue announcements will be forthcoming soon s that we stick the date for redemption in our diaries.
