With Carl Froch seemingly very quiet when it comes to discussing, these days, a re-match with George Groves, could the Hammersmith fighter be lined up for another shot at a world title very soon?

Talk from across the pond is that the WBA super-middleweight champion, Andre Ward, reckons that Froch owes Groves a re-match and that if Froch isn?t prepared to fight Groves or even try to avenge a defeat against him then perhaps it is common sense to make a fight between himself and Groves.

However, whilst it may look to be an attractive proposition on paper, I?m not sure it is an option Groves should consider just yet. If Froch got lucky against him, Groves can ill-afford a second consecutive defeat against an operative as classy as Ward.

Our opinion is that Groves should, and will, be brought back into the ring in a contest that will definitely get him back to winning ways. Groves is young enough to come again and even if he has to chase a world title fight for another twelve months it certainly wouldn?t be the end of the world.
