Martin Murray may have only made the move up to super-middleweight just recently, having come up against Gennady Golovkin in a middleweight world title fight he subsequently lost, but rumours are in circulation that the Manchester fighter could be set for a fourth world title fight.

After three defeats in previous world title bouts, although it has to be said Murray has never been disgraced at the highest level, there is talk that Murray could be announced as the opponent selected for Arthur Abraham?s next defence of his WBO super-middleweight belt.

Abraham, who recently beat Paul Smith twice, is set to name his next opponent for his fight on 21st November at the Tui Arena in Hannover, this Wednesday.

However, the suggestion is also doing the rounds that the legend that is Bernard ?The Executioner? Hopkins, is also on the list from which Abraham?s next opponent will be selected.

Let?s hope Abraham selects Murray as the Manchester fighter could just surprise Abraham, even if he does have to travel to the champions? backyard to get the fight.
