Could heaven and earth be moved to get Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury in the ring together sooner than most people expected?

It may be so!

The promoter Frank Warren has mentioned the fact that talks about a possible clash have already taken place.

Furthermore, Warren has stated that if he can get the fight sorted he?d willingly pay Fury?s next opponent, Christian Hammer, to step aside and take a place on the bill instead, remarking,

‘If we made that fight today I would pay Hammer off.?

And on those talks about just such a fight, Warren added,

‘I had a conversation last night with the Wilder’s team but it is early days. They said they wanted it – they called it out.?

And as another enticement, Frank further added,

‘We would pay Hammer, give him another fight on the card and go straight to the Wilder fight, why take the risk?’

However Tyson Fury seems, for the moment, to be quite content to bide his time and concentrate on the Christian Hammer fight, remarking,

‘It is very refreshing to hear the new heavyweight champion wants to fight me.’

‘It shows the calibre of fighter I am when the first thing out of their mouth is that they want to fight me.

‘I must focus on this fight and I take it very, very seriously. Hammer is a good boxer.’

Oh come on Tyson, play the game, take Wilder on next!
