On the under-card of the Frank Warren promoted Wembley Arena show last night, two unbeaten super-welterweights went head to head.

In an enthralling fight Gary Corcoran was matched against Rick Godding.

Godding, entering the ring as the more experienced fighter; but with only 3 knockouts to his name from a 20 fight career, battled well against Corcoran, who entered the ring with a record that read 12-0 with 6 knockouts to his name.

But, in the ten round bout; it was to be Corcoran who was to emerge the victor taking the decision on all three judges score-cards, with the results as thus:-

? 97-93
? 99-91
? 99-92

The margins were, perhaps, a little wide but Corcoran continues to impress and move forward, definitely a fighter to watch.
