Conlan was matched against the American fighter, Tim Ibarra, in the third round and was cheered on by 5,000 of his compatriots.

The UIC Pavilion has a capacity of 9,500 and it?ll be interesting to see how many fellow Irishman make the journey to cheer the man from Belfast on.
As of yet there has been no opponent named for his second fight, we?ll bring you that news when it becomes available.
