Last night Tyson Fury stunned the boxing world.

The unbeaten British heavyweight walked into the champions? lair and ripped the world title from a fighter who had reigned for a decade.

Before the fight Tyson had told the world that he would be the man to end Klitschko?s long reign but his words were dismissed by most as just talk.

This morning, Tyson will wake up (that?s if he managed to get to sleep), surrounded by a whole host of belts and a place in sporting history.

In beating Wladimir Klitsckho, Tyson becomes Britain?s fifth bona-fide heavyweight world champion after Bob Fitzsimmons, Lennox Lewis, Frank Bruno and David Haye.

His life will change forever and the buoyant Fury deserves every word of praise coming his way. Sure he can be brash, sure he can be talkative and yes he is an entertainer, but Tyson Fury showed last night that when it comes to grabbing something you really want, obstacles can be overcome and dreams can be realised if you have that one trait so many others don?t ? belief.

On his return to the UK, the self-proclaimed Gypsy King will be surrounded by the his face will be staring out at us from every newspaper there is, for the next few days and do you know what, A sporting hero was born last night and here at Vital Boxing we?d like to offer Tyson Fury our heartiest congratulations.
